Countless times when I've consulted to companies Cheap Haason Reddick Jersey , I've heard customer service people take swipes at the sales team, because they believe they're pampered, overpaid, and under-worked.
CSR's say their jobs are just as important. While salespeople bring in new business, CSR's keep these clients happy and on the books. Salespeople sell, and service folks re-sell Cheap Chase Edmonds Jersey , so to speak.
I couldn't agree more!
Each function contributes significantly to the bottom line, but there are certain reasons service contributions are invisible to senior management and undervalued:
(1) Service is not designed, in most companies to be results-oriented, but rather, process oriented. The question that is more likely to be asked is this: ?Did the CSR sound polite?? and not ?Did the customer recommit to doing business with us, because Jennifer induced him to do so??
(2) There are no objective and meaningful measures of performance in place. A salesperson can say Cheap Mason Cole Jersey , I outsold everyone else this quarter, so I deserve a big bonus! What can the typical CSR point to, as rock solid evidence of her relative effectiveness?
(3) A sale is defined, but customer satisfaction is not. It would be unacceptable to say Megan is a great salesperson without looking to her buyers to support that claim through purchases. But we call someone good at performing service without measuring her impacts on customer retention.
You get the point.
There is one thing we can do that will change this situation.
Compel managers to rate and to compensate their CSR's, accordingly. If there are ten reps, then there will be numbers 1-10 Cheap Christian Kirk Jersey , in the ratings.
This will compel service providers to objectively define results, and it will spawn competition, where currently, there is none.
Healthy competition will help everyone, in the long run, but especially customers who will get the treatment they're looking for Cheap Patrick Peterson Jersey , and receive it from folks who are committed to continuously improve!
Chevy van mirrors appear to be all alike for many years. But like many other parts appearances often can be deceiving. Here's the story.
The family van for us is a 1992 Chevy Van. It's a short wheelbase conversion van. These old vans were built on the 34 ton chassis and are tough as can be. Good thing.
My wife eased off the road at about 50 mph and the ride side mirror clipped a road sign. Then the right rear of the van kissed the sign post. Of course when the mirror hit the sign, it folded back toward the van and flew through the closed window, barely missing my little daughter in the passenger's seat. Whew!!!
My wife eased back on the road and brought it all on home. The small side-swipe was barely noticeable. The mirror was a total loss. No problem, I thought. This mirror design must have been used on millions of trucks and vans. At least there are many vehicles still on the road with mirrors that look much like this one does.
I ordered a replacement from a major mail order catalog. It was stainless steel, just like the original. When it arrived, I was a little puzzled. The mounting base for the mirror didn't match the radius of the van fender. It looked just about like the original Cheap Larry Fitzgerald Jersey , but it just really didn't fit. At least not without some serious bending of the mounting bracket. Send it back... It seemed a shame to send it back but it also seemed a shame to put on a part that really didn't fit either and bending it to fit seemed a little extreme.
Just head for the local auto parts store. Yep, they are in stock. Bring it home. Uh oh... Same funny looking bracket that doesn't quite match. Well. Just bend the thing. Bent it to fit the fender and it looked OK. Well, the adjustment was a little different. Maybe it'll be OK.
